On Friday 2nd September 2011 Greg Smith invited some of the Epping community's most talented and promising young sport stars to the Epping Electorate Office to be presented with the NSW State Representative Certificate. Students who attend the presentation have represented NSW in a range of sports including Softball, Hammer Throw, Shot Put, Steeplechase, Javelin, and Diving.

On Sunday 28^th August Greg Smith officially opened the Epping Street fair held in Rawson Street just outside his Epping electoral office.

Greg Smith expressed his disappointment in Labor, The Greens and the Shooters for blocking tough new laws in the Upper House to crack down on graffiti vandals.

Since being sworn in as the State’s 55^th Attorney General on April 5, the pace has been furious as the Government presses ahead with its 100-day plan.
